Med-e-Mail: Introducing Healthy Company for doctors

Introducing Healthy Company for doctors

Dear Colleagues,

In last week’s newsletter, we emphasised that supporting you through this challenging period remains a priority for us and that we are committed to providing you and your practice with information on how to survive and thrive during and beyond the COVID-19 pandemic. In this week’s newsletter, we want to remind you of the personal resilience suite that we have developed to provide doctors with psychosocial, physical and business support.

Introducing Healthy Company for doctors

The current pandemic has again highlighted the status of the profession as a critical national asset. Your selfless dedication and skill has inspired us to dig deeper to find creative ways of maintaining and protecting your wellbeing, which has never been more important - to us and to you. Together with the Healthcare Workers Care Network, Discovery has launched Healthy Company for Doctors, a personal assistance programme offered free of charge to all doctors, providing you with support across four critical domains - financial, legal, emotional and physical. All information and interactions are completely confidential and doctors are supported by expert counsellors and coaches across the four wellness domains.

Activate the benefit on the Discovery app or call Healthy Company on 0800 320 420 for assistance today.

Vitality Active Rewards for Doctors

Our support for doctors predates the pandemic. Leveraging off Vitality, our globally leading wellness programme, we launched Vitality Active Rewards for Doctors (VARD) in 2016, a programme exclusive and free to all doctors. The programme gives doctors access to the activity based rewards free of charge, with boosted incentives for doctors who excel on our nationwide doctor leaderboards.

For more details on VARD, and how to sign up, simply follow these links respectively; Vitality Active Rewards for public sector doctors and private sector doctors.

Please find links to additional infographics below that you may use to inform your peers/colleagues of these offerings. Your health and wellbeing and that of your colleagues has never been of more critical importance than right now.
